By using EasyBMV, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
a. Information You Provide
• Account Registration: When you register for an EasyBMV account, we may collect personal information, such as your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and any additional details necessary for electronic vehicle registration.
• Transaction Information: If you complete a registration transaction, we collect details necessary for the transaction, including payment information and associated documentation.
• SMS Consent Information: When you register for an account, you may provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages. We collect your phone number, your opt-in preferences (verification messages, account notifications, and/or promotional messages), the date and method of your consent, and any subsequent opt-out requests. Your opt-in consent is recorded and retained for compliance purposes.

When you access EasyBMV, we automatically collect certain information:

• Affiliates, Joint Ventures, Governments, Regulators, and Subsidiary Use: We share information with deputy registrars, state government agency representatives and computer systems, regulators, and banks for all their needs; our joint ventures, affiliates, and subsidiaries to provide services for their operations and business purposes; and with our third-party hosting providers and payment processors as part of the ordinary course of our business operations. This information is used solely for business operations and is never sold to third parties.
• SMS Communications: We use your phone number to send text messages based on your consent preferences, including: (a) one-time passcodes (OTP) for account verification and login; (b) account status notifications and alerts, such as registration processing updates, document readiness, payment confirmations, and renewal reminders; and (c) if you have separately opted in, promotional messages including offers, service updates, and educational content. We use a third-party messaging provider to deliver these messages. Your phone number is shared with the third-party solely for the purpose of delivering text messages on our behalf. We do not sell, share, or use your phone number or opt-in data for third-party marketing purposes.
• Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide customer service.
• Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.
